Basic Policy
Policy on Anti-Social Forces (ASF) and Compliance with National Security and Sanctions Regulations
Autocom Japan Inc. (hereinafter “the Company”) requires all customers (buyers) to confirm and commit to the following policies. These policies are designed to prevent damage caused by Anti-Social Forces (ASF) and to ensure strict compliance with national and international security regulations.
1. Definition of Anti-Social Forces (ASF)
Anti-Social Forces (ASF) refer to organized crime groups, extremist groups, and other entities or individuals that, directly or indirectly, engage in or support illegal or disruptive activities that undermine social order, public safety, and lawful business practices.
ASF activities may include, but are not limited to, extortion, fraud, coercion, blackmail, money laundering, and other forms of criminal or unethical conduct targeting individuals, companies, or institutions.
2. Company Policy on Anti-Social Forces
- The Company prioritizes the safety of its employees and implements measures to protect against ASF activities.
- The Company will terminate any relationship, whether direct or indirect, with customers identified as or suspected of affiliation with ASF.
- No transactions or benefits will be offered to ASF.
- The Company will reject all requests or demands from ASF and will take legal action when necessary.
- To eliminate the influence and activities of Anti-Social Forces (ASF), the Company will collaborate closely with external organizations, including law enforcement agencies, legal advisors, police, Interpol, ASF Elimination Centers, and other authorized organizations.
3. Compliance with National Security Regulations
All customers are required to adhere to the following conditions in accordance with national security standards. Goods purchased from or through the Company will not be used:
- for the development, manufacture, or use of conventional weapons;
- for the development, manufacture, or use of weapons of mass destruction, including nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons;
- for military purposes or for re-export with military applications.
4. Compliance with International Laws and Sanctions
All customers are required to comply with all applicable international laws and regulatory provisions. By accepting these policies, the Customer confirms that they will avoid any activities that may lead to a violation of international sanctions imposed by the United Nations, the European Union, national governments, or other regulatory bodies. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting financial transactions prohibited by sanctions.
- Exporting, importing, or transiting goods and technologies subject to sanctions.
- Providing financial or other support to individuals or entities listed on international sanction lists.
- Participating in investment projects or partnerships with entities that violate established sanctions.
- Attempting to circumvent sanctions through indirect methods or by using third parties.
- Engaging in any activity that may be qualified as a violation of sanction measures.
